Isn’t it so exciting when you book a photoshoot! There is so much creative freedom you get when you book in with Dreamy Moon Photography. From a huge variety of outfits to select from our client closet. To backdrops, accessories and of course props.
You get to completely tailor your photoshoot experience with the guidance and expertise of our team. So what to consider when you do get the chance to choose your props. Of course we will guide you along the process but here is a list of tips to help you also decide.
Choosing your props
- Theme, are you going minimal, rustic, boho, lots of decor, different colours etc.
- What type of session are you doing. Some props are more appropriate for newborns whilst others are more appropriate for older toddlers. Your photographer will give great suggestions!
- How big is your little one, stream lining off the previous point… it’s important to discuss the size of your little one with your photographer as the will really narrow down the best prop fit.
Alternatively if choosing your favourite prop is a little overwhelming you can always leave the creative reigns up to your photographer. But it is also nice to have some in put too.
