It’s hard to believe that Arcadia is already six months old! This special milestone calls for a celebration, and what better way to commemorate it than with a charming photoshoot that captures her growing personality? With vintage bonnets, adorable gingham outfits, and lovely rattan basket props, we created a delightful setting that truly reflects her sweet spirit.

Embracing Vintage Charm

For Arcadia’s 6-month milestone, we opted for a vintage-inspired theme that beautifully showcases her innocence and charm. Vintage bonnets added a touch of timeless elegance, framing her lovely face and highlighting her bright, curious eyes. These delicate accessories not only look adorable but also evoke a sense of nostalgia, transporting us back to simpler times.

To complement the vintage vibe, we dressed Arcadia in delightful gingham outfits. A Pawsitively Merry Tradition: Gypsy and Her Doggy Cj’s 3rd Christmas Mini Photography Session

As the holiday season unfolded, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing the magic of Christmas through the lens of our camera once again. This year marked the third Christmas Mini Photography Session with one of our favourite toddlers Gypsy and her furry doggy “CJ”.

Gypsy, with her radiant smile, and her loyal canine companion have become familiar faces in our studio. Marking their third consecutive year of creating special Christmas memories together. This annual reunion has evolved into a heartwarming tradition, capturing the essence of her sweet family each year.

Furry Festivities:

This year’s Christmas Mini Photography Session was nothing short of magical. Gypsy and CJ brought an abundance of joy, playfulness, and an undeniable festive spirit to the studio. The air was filled with the jingle of bells. The warmth of twinkling lights, and the unmistakable sound of paws padding around, adding an extra layer of charm to the session.

Burleigh Heads Baby Photographer | Fairy Mini Session

We went adventuring to the Gold Coast Lakelands! A beautiful nature reserve that is literally perfect for outdoor photos!

I had a vision to do a whimsical fairy milestone session amongst the arch trees.

So we pulled the sage coloured tutu out and dressed Arnhem in it. She’s always testing out the up and coming ideas.

Finding the perfect location at the reserve was super easy. It was perfectly shaded with a glimpse of sun shining through the trees. Amazing to take photos during the middle of the day. If you know, you know!

Arnhem did amazing sitting there under the trees and posing like a little fairy. Lots of and laughter came from her! Now the magic is in the edit of this particular photo, to create a whimsical fairy enchanted image, we got creative in photoshop.

Everyone loved the fairy look, and maybe convinced us to do some mini sessions early next year, what do you think?

It was time for another first birthday shenanigan!

We love first birthdays at Dreamy Moon Photography! Because that means it’s cake smash time for all the newly one year olds that come visit us at the studio…

The sweetest little boy, Oliver came in for his first birthday cake smash session. Malin his mum, got in touch with the studio to organise a green, blue and neutral session for Ollies first birthday.

With intentional planning we came up with the perfect set up! Several helium balloons floating in the back ground both blue and green. The little rattan chair for a milestone session. A very tall mini naked cake to be smashed! And lastly two outfit choices, green and neutral.

When the day of the shoot arrived, Ollie came through and did amazing! Having his sister join in on the milestone part of the session. We captured some timeless memories of them together! Then it was time for cake! Ollie wasn’t quite sure what to do with the cake, so we cut him off a slice to eat. Wrapping the session up with a splash bath!

Hello! Welcome, I am Tiana, founder of Dreamy Moon Photography… I specialise in creating custom, heirloom art pieces for your family to cherish for years to come. But with all that aside let’s get straight into the blog!

Okay, Okay… Starting off with the Minis! Mini Sessions are great, they are a lot of fun. Fairly fast paced and a great taster into the Dreamy Moon Experience. This type of sessions is perfect for you if you are okay with a specific theme, want something short and fast, are flexible with dates and times. These session are generally discounted or offered in a cheaper bundle and are only offered 1-2 times a year. For example Christmas Mini Sessions.

Now that we have talked about the mini sessions, let’s talk about why a customer session might be a better fit for your families needs. Custom sessions, well they are completely tailored to you, “the name says it all.” There is so much more flexibility when it comes to a custom session. You have more of a say on location/ studio, date & time (depending on availability), theme, props, outfits and so much more! Dreamy Moon Photography will work along side you to create a unique experience. These sessions generally cost more and offer the full luxury experience.
