While older newborn sessions are still possible, the sleepy, curled up shots are best captured within the first two weeks.

Booking your newborn session early is essential. The best time to secure your spot is during your second trimester, around 20-30 weeks pregnant. By booking early, you ensure your due date is on the calendar, and once your baby arrives, we’ll finalize a session date within that ideal 5-14 day window.

If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, simply reach out, and we’ll adjust the session date accordingly. Having a pre booked spot ensures priority scheduling to accommodate your newborn’s arrival.

Can I Book a Newborn Session After My Baby is Born?

Yes! While it’s always best to book ahead of time, we understand that life with a newborn can be unpredictable. If your baby has already arrived and you haven’t booked a session yet, reach out as soon as possible. We will do our best to fit you in, but availability may be limited.

A Miracle of Three: Photographing Newborn Triplets Primrose, Bobby, and Lilli

Capturing the arrival of a new baby is always a special experience, but photographing triplets is a rare and exhilarating opportunity. Recently, we had the privilege of meeting Primrose, Bobby, and Lilli, who made their entrance into the world at 33 weeks and each weighed under 2 kg. Their journey into the world is a testament to resilience, love, and the incredible bond of family.

A Joyful Arrival

Born a bit earlier than expected, the arrival of Primrose, Bobby, and Lilli was met with overwhelming joy and anticipation. Their parents embraced the challenge of welcoming three little ones, and the excitement in the air was palpable. Each tiny miracle brought with them a unique personality and charm, ready to be captured forever.

For this special newborn photoshoot, we aimed to create a warm, nurturing environment that reflected the love surrounding these little ones. Soft creams and gentle textures laid the scene, with hues of whites, ivory, and cream creating a serene backdrop. We used knitted blankets and delicate moon props to ensure the triplets were comfortable and snug throughout the session.

The Journey to Baby William: Riki-Lee and Sean’s IVF Story

The path to parenthood can be a winding road, filled with hopes, dreams, and sometimes challenges that test our strength. For Riki-Lee and Sean, their journey to welcome their precious baby William into the world was a heartfelt adventure, marked by love, resilience, and the miracles of modern medicine.

The Beginning of the Journey

Riki-Lee and Sean always dreamed of starting a family. Like many couples, they envisioned a home filled with laughter, love, and the joy that children bring. However, as they began their journey, they faced unexpected challenges that would lead them to explore the world of IVF.

After months of trying to conceive naturally, they realized that they would need a little extra help. Though the diagnosis was overwhelming, Riki-Lee and Sean embraced the opportunity to take control of their journey and pursue IVF, a decision that would ultimately change their lives forever.

With vintage bonnets, adorable gingham outfits, and lovely rattan basket props, we created a delightful setting that truly reflects her sweet spirit.

For Arcadia’s 6-month milestone, we opted for a vintage-inspired theme that beautifully showcases her innocence and charm. Vintage bonnets added a touch of timeless elegance, framing her lovely face and highlighting her bright, curious eyes. The Sweetest session:

Karynne’s baby boy was the sleepiest little munchkin ever!

Karynne, her partner Steven and mother arrived in our studio to get some newborn family photographs done with their latest addition!

Traveling all the way from Lismore to work with Dreamy Moon Photography!

The session went amazing and bubba slept the entire way through. We started off by giving him a big feed as he had been in the car for over an hour and a half. After he had a full tummy we started the session. Posing him in several different props, such as the bamboo bed, round and rectangular basket.

Dreamy Family Photos:

The session was followed by family photos of momma and dad, then some solo parent images. Of course we had to get nanny in the images with her first grandson! We capture a few family images of the four of them and a solo shot with nanny and bubba boy.

Because he was doing so amazing we took him over to the posing bed and capture a pose in ‘bottoms up’ and some relaxed poses.

We always try to accomodate for our clients who travel far to come and do a session with us. So we had organised to do a viewing session in the same day. Whist I was lightly editing them image and making sure they were perfect, Karynne and her family spent some time looking over our studio samples.

There were so many sweet images to choose from Karynne’s and Steve fell in love with our luxury album and selected an heirloom to treasure for life!
