Karynne’s Newborn Session | Currumbin qld baby photographer

The Sweetest session:

Karynne’s baby boy was the sleepiest little munchkin ever!

Karynne, her partner Steven and mother arrived in our studio to get some newborn family photographs done with their latest addition!

Traveling all the way from Lismore to work with Dreamy Moon Photography!

The session went amazing and bubba slept the entire way through. We started off by giving him a big feed as he had been in the car for over an hour and a half. After he had a full tummy we started the session. Posing him in several different props, such as the bamboo bed, round and rectangular basket.

Dreamy Family Photos:

The session was followed by family photos of momma and dad, then some solo parent images. Of course we had to get nanny in the images with her first grandson! We capture a few family images of the four of them and a solo shot with nanny and bubba boy.

Because he was doing so amazing we took him over to the posing bed and capture a pose in ‘bottoms up’ and some relaxed poses.

We always try to accomodate for our clients who travel far to come and do a session with us. So we had organised to do a viewing session in the same day. Whist I was lightly editing them image and making sure they were perfect, Karynne and her family spent some time looking over our studio samples.

There were so many sweet images to choose from Karynne’s and Steve fell in love with our luxury album and selected an heirloom to treasure for life!

As the festive season draws to a close, our team at Dreamy Moon Photography can’t help but look back with immense joy and gratitude at the enchanting memories we’ve had the privilege of capturing during our 2023 Christmas Mini Photography Sessions. Let me tell you all about the Mothers Group Christmas Photoshoot in the Gold Coast QLD!

So how did we come up with the idea to do a baby Christmas Photoshoot in the Gold Coast?

We had been doing our annual Christmas Mini photoshoots in the Gold Coast pine forest, when I met our lovely Michelle.

Michelle reached out to me after her christmas mini session with such a wonderful idea, to come and capture all the babies at her mothers group. We couldn’t say no to capturing 5 gorgeous chunky babies, so we immediately scheduled a session.

Michelle loves interior design and spends a fair bit of her spare time renovating house, when she’s not being a mumma. We decided to capture the shoot next to Michelle’s stone fire place and grand Christmas tree.

Firstly we captured the babies in a little red car. They were all so delightful and full of laughs and smiles. Each baby had their own little personalities come out in front of the camera and was too adorable! After we had finished shooting the babies in the little red car, we moved onto the next prop set.

We popped all 5 babies into beautifully wrapped Christmas present boxes next to each other. They all coordinated so well with their little Christmas outfits. Now you can imagine what it’s like to get 5 different babies attention. We had to get real creative and pulled out the rattles, squeakers and little stuffed teddy bears. Some of the babies loved the attention and others, well lets just say it’s a big job posing and being a model! For the babies that were happy during the photos, we moved onto one more set. Santa Claus! It was so sweet watching the babies interact with Santa Claus, and to capture their first Christmas on camera.

In the end we captured some beautiful photos of the Christmas Baby Photoshoot in the Gold Coast. They were genuine and candid, filled with both laughter and tears.
